Levelmonitor provides the level or contents of your vessels through the internet using the web-browser on your computer, irrespective of the geographical location of your vessels.

The LevelMonitor web-portal presents level data collected from remote sites and distributes this information efficiently to people who can use it for business decisions.

Level readings are taken at the remote site using weighing technology or ultrasonic, capacitance and (guided)radar level measurement devices.

Next, the "DAC-Module" (Data Acquisition & Communication Module) relays this field data to a secure web site.

For communication are several choices possible: landlines (PSTN), satellites, the wireless GSM/GPRS- or Mobitex-network. The Mobitex-network is property of RAM Mobile Data and available in the Benelux only. This commercial operated network offers excellent availability and reliability and is also suitable for critical applications for reasonable costs. It is even being used by emergency services as police, fire department and ambulance.

The VMI-system monitors level status, tracks trends, and sends alarms directly to designated personnel by SMS (Short Message Service), pager or e-mail. Alarm details are available on-line for quick reference. Alarm acknowledgement can be done either on the web-site or by a return SMS message with a mobile cellphone.
